Happy Christmas! I kept it simple this year...lots of cheapo red ornaments in jars and I love my red bird plates from Pier One!
this sign hangs in my kitchen...
a sad
clowny looking snowman....
Happy Ho Ho HO to you!
like I said...lots of red ornaments and big candy canes from the dollar store!
my mantel in the dinning room....JOY!
one of my old horses is the centerpiece on my dinning room table..
love him...remember the day we found him Lynn?
I got the last plates at Pier one...don't walk, run! to get them before they are sold out at your neighborhood store!
Expect Merriment during this holiday season!
I did pops of red throughout the house, red pillows, throws, ornaments,
etc.
Keeping it simple......
Happy Holidays everyone!!!!

I agree with Sandy Toes...that sign is great...I love the plates from pier one too! It is all wonderful... very warm & cozy without being cluttered!
You have done a wondeful job! I love the old rocking horse on your table.
Could your home possibly get any more precious? I doubt it! I loved all your decorations. Well, I'm a bit freaked out by clowns and I adore snowmen, so that I'm not so certain how I feel about your clown like snowman, but I really do LOVE the rest. The touches of primitive rustic are wonderful and quite a surprise.
Hi Gail! Your holiday decor is beautiful as is your entire home. I keep Cranberry Cottage very simple while I go a bit more out for our house in the city. I throw a party each year for my quilt group and it is nice to decorate for that but I love the simplicity of the cottage with little accents here and there. Even the tree! Here it takes me two days to get it done and about an hour if even that at the cottage. I love simple and your 'simple' is very pretty!

Oh, it looks like a holiday dream come true! I can almost smell the pine, the peppermint and the love - it shows throughout, you know..
Thnaks for letting us peek inside your warm Christmas home!

Hi...just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog! Ilove the red birdie plates and the horse on your table!
Have a great weekend.
Your decorating is so lovely and cheery. Love the touches of red and the plates from Pier one caught my eye too! I can't buy any however as I am running out of cupboard space in a big hurry. Glad you got them!
I love all of your "simple" decorating. Your vintage horses are so beautiful. The mantel looks great! Love the pops of red and the natural woods and greenery.

Well done. I am loving all these Xmas house pictures but I'm also beginning to see how uncreative I really am. So cute though.
very nice. this was the first year I didn't do anything with fresh cuttings yet. I must go outside tomorrow and snip away.
Your decorations are adorable. Especially those Pier 1 plates.
