Welcome to my house....

Welcome to my house! Merry Christmas! I think I am finally done decorating the house inside and out Here are a couple pictures of the outside of my house. I find that less is best with my colonial house, just a few greens and berries and a candle lit in every window. There is something missing in this picture, especially here in Minnesota! this four letter word??? yes, SNOw! It looks kind of funny without it. I am so excited...Addi and I are going to my Mom's this afternoon to welcome her home from the hospital...yeah! I will be posting the rest of my indoor pictures soon!

Oh I just love it! I want to knock on the door and give you a hug! Love the skates - they look so good hanging there.
Give you Mom a hug for all of us who read your blog - and tell her we're all sending up good wishes and prayers on her behalf.

Your home is amazing. Have a wonderful week-end, friend :-)

Gail,

I'm with you on the outside decor. I got a wreath yesterday and started adding greens to the urn that still has bittersweet in it. I just need some of those red sumac "heads". I don't know what they are called, but my brother and I used to call them dustmop trees when we were kids. I'll post a pic when done.

PS And oh yes, yours looks great,LOL.

Hello Gail! After being at Cranberry Cottage for the weekend, I have to catch up with you. I really love what you have shared so far. I think the ice skates look so cute hanging from the mailbox. I have antique Dutch wooden ice skates that I hang up in January as winter decorations.

Love those skates! I have an old pair that I might have to do something with. Your natural decor is great! Well, you certainly got your wish for snow, didn't you? Is a foot enough for ya? It looks pretty but I think we're in for a long and snowy winter in Mn.
