I'm tired....

After a week of being sick I was happy to see Friday arrive...It was the day I was planning to take off and go antiquing to Oronoco MN for the huge flea market. I woke up at four am and hit the ground running, got down to Oronco by sunrise to meet a friend and everyone was set up. If you haven't been to Oronoco I will fill you in....Every August this little town ( I don't think it has over 5oo residents) basically closes down and hosts a flea market to hundreds of dealers. It is held all over town in alleys, yards, streets, fields..I would not miss it! but it is tiring! so today I am resting...above is one of three windows I purchased for ten dollars a piece! love the arch! I quickly put it on my mantle when I got home...more photos to come!

Love the window! And only $10. Great but. I would love to have an event around here like that!

I too like the window! And the star. The event sounds like soooo much fun! Get some rest and enjoy your treasures!

Oh, I can't wait to see the rest of your photos! I went to Oronoco years ago and had a wonderful time. It's about 5 hours from here so it's a little hike. We attended Gold Rush Days too at the fairgrounds. It would be fun to get back there someday. Do you ever go to Buffalo's occasional sales? They're fun. I didn't make one this summer but hope to in October.

Duh, of course you've been to the occasional sales since you had a spot in the Buffalo Nickel. Sometimes it's hard to keep all the blogs straight. Sorry!

I just found your blog and am so excited about the Oronoco fair...do you live in Minnesota? I lived in Minneapolis form 1998-2003 when we moved back to Chicago to be closer to family. I'd love any insight you have about the fair and will be sure to check it out on-line....sounds right up my alley!!
