I should of named this post ruffles on a fence! sorry but this was the only place lit well enough to take a picture...anyhow, I finally had some time to do a little sewing and I made these skirts for my nieces. I found the tutorial at grandrevivaldesigns.typepad.com

How sweet! It reminds me of a little skirt my mom made me when I was about 6 or 7. It had straps attached to the waist band (like suspenders) that crossed on my back. It was pink with black polka dots. This was a trip down memory lane. You did a beautiful job!
