Tomorrow...

Tomorrow at 3:30 we will be saying good bye to our sweet kitty...she has been with us fifteen years. She is very sick. These kind of good bye's are hard... We will miss her sweet purrrrr......and her gentle way in dealing with our nieces ...I caught Miss Addi one day picking her up by her back legs and trying to carry her. The girls love her so...they are very attached. what do I say?

Oh, I'm so very sorry sweetie....to lose a pet is to lose a member of the family. I would tell your sweet nieces that she went to live in heaven where she could run and play with other kitty cats forever and that now she feels so good too!! I am so sorry ~ I know you love her, (((hugs))), Dawn

Oh I am so very sorry that now you have to say goodbye to your pretty cat. I always hate when this day comes for one of our cats. It is so heartbreaking but I find comfort in knowing that I was able to give my cat a truly wonderful life. I hope you too can find that kind of comfort and will find the words to tell the girls about kitty. My thoughts are with you today dear Gail!

Hugs ~
Heidi

I am very sorry. We just went through this with our Boomer in August.
All I can say is, the hurt will lessen with time...... it helps a little to know that, when the pain is so heavy.
(((((hugs to you)))))

I am so sorry to have to be writing to you in these circumstances - you gave that beautiful kitty 15 great years - more than some sweeties ever would dream about. I just was asked last night about a photo if one of our beloved pets that has left our care by my 4-year old grand daughter who was looking at older photos of her Mom's..I told her they left earth to live with Jesus in Heaven - she thought it about it for a minute, then asked if Jesus was taking good care of them in Heaven - I sais He was - she said, OK that's good and seemed
ok - I think the hardest part will be on you - you'll miss her - but time will pas & you'll talk about her and remember all the silly, sweet and fun things she did- and you'll smile.
You're in my thoughts,
Colleen

I am so sorry! I know exactly how you feel. We had to put our 19 1/2 year old cat down and it was terribly sad. One thing that helped me was to remember that we gave her a pretty good cat life but I still miss her. Hope you are doing okay.

My heart goes out to you. We just had to do the same thing with our dog on Thursday, May 29th. It was horrible and I will never forget it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

OH< I'm so sorry, too. The family kitty is such a wonderful part of the home and after so many wonderful years together this will be very hard on everyone. I am sending along a prayer for acceptance in your children's hearts with the knowledge that God is in control of all things and that His love and provision will more than supercede any loss. Blessings! Carolyn
