spring ritual...
It was a beautiful spring weekend, so we spent it doing our spring ritual... 1. fresh coat of paint of the garden gate (check) 2. buy flats of flowers to plant next weekend. (check) 3. sweep out the screen porch and add plants, wash curtains in screen porch too.(check) 4. Rake the yard (check) 5. take off storm window and put up screens(check) 6. straighten that potting shed sign (again) (check). Straighten up the playhouse...those girls didn't pick it up when they were done on Friday! (check) . What are your spring rituals? Next on my list is to sit down and make out a list for next weekend!

what charming photos!! Laurie
You have been very busy! I had 3 days off and got nothing on my list done. Oh well family is first.
I LOVE your porch! The playhouse is adorable!
What a pretty porch you have Gail! There are no porches here in Holland. I miss that from home. You had a busy weekend. We decided to use this weekend to plant up my larger terracotta pots with herbs and new for this year vegetables. I will put them on my blog later today. I think you have the quintessential white picket fence of America. :)
Hugs ~

I'd say you had a busy weekend. All looks so warm and inviting.

We haven't really established any spring rituals yet. {We've lived in a lot of rentals, and moved a lot, until now.} I look forward to starting all kinds of rituals once the dust settles...one of these years!
I enjoyed your pictures.
Loved your pictures, you did a great job on the play house,Good to see you back best wishes Angie.
Everything looks so inviting. I imagine you have many relaxing evenings on your porch and in your yard...after all of these spring chores get completed.

Such a pretty screened porch & potting shed!
Have a great weekend.
Gail,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know the girls will be a comfort to you. The space you have fixed up for them is every little girl's drea.

Your porch is beautiful. It looks like a perfect place to sit down and read a book on a nice springy day. I especially like the chandelier. It adds a lot of charm. I want a porch :)
what a nice porch, I would love to sit there and read. We don't really have any spring rituals.
Except maybe planting seeds and flowers.
