Lynn and I had a good time at the Painted Porch yesterday...It was nice to see Diane (the new owner) and some of our antique dealer friends! The sun came out on the drive down and the snow was melting fast! The shop was put together so well...it is in a outlet mall so Diane had a big challenge to make it look warm and cozy and she nailed it...Even though it was 35 degrees outside, it felt like Spring had arrived! Here are some pictures of her beautiful displays... I love this NEST plate! a old ironstone plate and some rub on letters! beautiful.
Gorgeous Green cupboard popping with Spring nests!
Diane added many architectual elements to this store, it really warmed it up! This little porch in the corner was sweet. Geraniums and dark green paint..always a great combination! A cupboard full of ironstone plates... all monogrammed and ready to go to that perfect owner.. Display area behind the check out desk....see my friend's check book open and ready to go! wow. this is a long post. keep on scrolling! The new owner Diane on right being helped by Nicole... Congratulations !!! you did a great job..keep drinking that coffee! Had to sneek a picture of my friend Lynn writing out her check...cause I know how much she hates me taking her picture! tee hee. I hope you enjoyed the tour...have a great Wed.!!!

Oh it looks like such a fun place to be! If it were in our outlet mall, I certainly would be joining in on all the fun. Looks like you had a fun day and found a treasure for sure.

That looks like so much fun!! Did you find any treasures that you just had to take home to the tattered nest?
That sure looks like a fun place to look around. I love the potting shed!
What a beautiful shop! Thanks for sharing these pictures. I'm adding this to my list of places to visit! I think it could be a day trip from where I'm at.
Looks like a really fun place to shop Gail. It sounds like you and Lynn had a successful day there. Well at least, we know Lynn did since her checkbook was out and poised ready. LOL!
Hugs ~

What a charming place! It looks like my kind of place to shop! One must take a lot of time, so as not to miss one little detail! :o)
