this weekend's project...
I painted my living room last fall in a blue grayish green color and ever since then the color of the walls in my entry hall, open stairway and upstairs hallway have been driving me nuts. So that was this weekend's project...my husband and I had it finished by noon yesterday! Don't tell him but I think it might have a little bit to much blue in it! shhh. I will have to secretly paint it over myself...He says I need to stop reading these blogs, they give me to many ideas! whatever. Next room...my office. Oh before I forget, I wanted to share with you what I found in the dollar section at Target...these cute magazine files in a black and white design, right now they go great in my office...maybe I won't change my look just yet. They also had picture frames and notepads in the same design! love that Target...

Oh my gosh!!!! I LOVE your paint job!!!
Hey - did you paint your woodwork or was it already painted when you moved into your house? I'm thinking about doing that, but it's SUCH a daunting project......
A dollar for that magazine file??? Are you kidding me? What's it made out of? Soooooo Cute :)

i have to head to Target.........did you also get that acorn finial and lamp at Target?
I like the blue. But I know what you mean when something just is off a little. It will and can drive you nuts. Follow your heart.

I like the color. It makes your chandelier and furniture pop. My husband keeps telling me I look at too many decorating magazines.

The color is soft and pretty - I like it. As for the magazine holders - I love them! I'm into the black & white and I love toile, so there you have both! I need to go get some as well. Nice find!

I love the color! It looks great. And, the little tile(?) with the letter 'G'!
I ADORE that blue, the black makes everything so crisp!
You rocked it.

Thanks for visiting me today! As for the fabric of my new slipcover, I got it at our local (small) Canadian fabric store. I had never seen it before (as they NEVER seem to change their stock!) and snatched up as much as I could. I think it was only $7 a metre and is very durable. I was happy to finally luck out!!
I am so in love with that paint colour and your use of black with it! And that lamp...now where did you get THAT??!
Love your style!
