I haven't posted in a long time...my sweet little Mom was hospitalized last week for depression and I and my sister's have spent every minute we can with her at the hospital. She isn't improving like we hoped...please send up a prayer for her.

I am so sorry - My mother suffered all her life with depression (as do I) the difference is that I feel medications have taken such a leap- and women of her age had a hart time admitting they had depression at all. Felt it was somehow "shameful" or "within their control" . My prayers are with you and your sister and of course, your Mom. She has such a gental & sweet face! Please know I understand how you feel.

I was so sorry to read about your mother having to be put in the hospital! I really love this sweet photo of her and her smiling face. I have a friend with severe depression and know it is hard on not only her but the entire family. I am praying for your mother and sending positive thoughts your way.

She is blessed to have a daughter like you, even if she cannot express it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I've suffered with anxiety and depression, myself. I understand how hard it is on her and on everyone else involved... {It's not easy on family/friends either.} I feel very fortunate, as I'm sure you do, to be living in a day and age where there is so much help available! My thoughts are with you.

Gail, I will certainly be thinking of your sweet mom. I do hope that she starts to feel better soon and can leave the hospital. The picture with your grand niece is so wonderful.
