a day of designing...

Nothing like a day of designing to help get the mo jo back...I was asked by my friend Donna the owner of the Buffalo Nickel to help decorate her store a couple days this week. So, I jumped at the chance and my sweet husband took off the day to be with Addi...(he is the best!). We had a great time and it was fun to use my creative juices again! Here are some before and after pictures of the day! Merry Christmas!!! (it made me want to come home and get out the decorations!) I can't forget to thank Teresa over at Garden Antiques for nominating me for the "you make me smile" award! It made my day! the blogging blues have lifted...thanks to everyone else who left such kind and supportive comments! we are great friends!

Looks good, Gail! And I just love the fat white pumpkin on your header. Isn't it a good feeling when you've been in a slump, and you can start feeling creative again?

So glad to hear you are feeling lifted again! It looks like so much fun to help decorate the shop. And what a neat shop too. I enjoyed enlarging the photos and having a really good look. I was just thinking today about decorating for Christmas while I was cleaning and decluttering my bookshelves. I was tempted to at least get out my Christmas village but resisted.

I sent you an email about using the signature. Did you receive it?

Oooh! Thanks for posting these pictures. :) They make me smile. The Buffalo Nickel is still one of my favorite antique haunts. Even though I haven't been in years because I moved to Michigan. - So that was a little far. But now that I'm back in Minnesota it's just under 3 hours away. I'm going to try *really hard* to make a trip there this fall/holiday time. (I said that last year and didn't make it. So, maybe this will be the year.)

I used to love to see all of the holiday decor set up there.

And I'm glad your blogging blues have lifted! {Your friend Donna looks so familiar - I must have seen her when I used to stop in.} :)
