To paint or not to paint? It is 92 degrees today...so I decided to drag my Adirondack chairs out of the garden and paint them! I scraped and sweat ed and scraped some more...and than I thought maybe I should just leave these wonderful SHABBY CHIC chairs alone...Would they look better all freshly painted? or shabby?

It's too hot! Even my cat started panting when I put her outside briefly. Leave them for now, paint them later. :)
I actually love them as is.....all shabby and "tattered".

I like them as they are too. They just look comfy and well worn.
I love the new look of the chairs, they look pretty fab to me, but then I'm a shabby fan!
I think either way would be good - they certainly look nice in your pictures. I admit though that every year or every other year I repaint my white rockers that sit on our front porch. So, I guess I like that look too. I know, I'm a huge help :o)

either way, but if you leave them shabby, seal them, so they don't rot.
I like them shabby. :)
