Since all that really matters to my husband and I are our family members I'd like you to meet a member of our family, he is our nephew Logan. He is very special to us...we are very close and see him almost daily. This little guy has had a lot to deal with...At the age of 18 months he was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes...he just turned 8!! and is living with the daily tasks of pricking his finger numerous times a day and getting insulin shots. He is at the point now where he is doing all of this himself...we are so proud of him! When he was diagnosed my husband and I took classes with his parents to learn how to give him shots and learn his needs. We were honored to do it! We all share in the hope that one day soon there will be a cure for juvenile diabetes...Love you Loggie!

Your nephew is very handsome. I pray for a cure for this terrible disease. We have a friend about his age with the same problem, he's using a pump now. You have a lovely blog, it's so homey. I look forward to coming back to visit! Have a good night.
