Here is a picture I have kept for many years(sorry it is kinda wrinkled)...We are tearing down a big tree in our yard this summer and my husband wants to put a pine tree in it's place. Well, I really want a puttering shed like this one! I will keep you posted on who gets their way!

Having a little puttering shed like that would be bliss...pure and simple bliss. Forget the pint tree, I bet there is somewhere else that a tree could be planted, or perhaps you could plant a small tree next to it (something that won't get so big).

Needles, pine cones, SAP-who needs it? But a shed, a place to be creative, to get in out of the rain, to keep your "goodies"-I vote for that!
I absolutely vote for the shed - but why are you cutting down a bid tree? Can't you just give it a 'French Cut' instead?
I just discovered your blog via Cherry Hill Cottage. I've looked through most of your archives, and I must say you have a lovely home. I've enjoyed the pictures and inspiration! I've had two empty urns on my mantle for several months and I think I know what to do with them now...fill them with "twigs" and hydrangea flowers.

Question - Would you post more pics of your screened porch? We have one that needs some updating and I loved the look of your's with the sheers and lattice on the outside. I'm sure you enjoy it during the summer.
How I love that name - puttering shed, instead of potting shed. So fitting for what I want!!
