What to do...

Since I am taking a hiatus from the antique business, my husband would like me to sell off the remaining objects of junk in our little one stall garage...but what to do with it??? actually use it as a garage? (it has never been one)or set up my old wicker couch and chair and use it as extra sitting area in the summers? or insulate it and use it as a studio year round...I have been thinking about making a room in my basement into a craft room, which would be nice but it gets a little chilly down there in the winter months. Any suggestions?

I have been going through the same thing - work studio in the basement or garage. We are going to go for the garage. For me, the basement space would be smaller and less inspiring, lack of windows, etc. But the garage will be a larger space with windows! The garage is always full of my stuff anyway, so I don't think we would ever get the cars in there. Good luck with your decision!

Wow, what a great problem to have! I would use the garage for a studio/workspace/'summer house'. Here in the south people used to have summer porches or if you were lucky enough you had a seperate space for chairs and tables to spend time with friends. Now they are screen houses or gazebos. Have fun whatever you decide to do!

Does Hubby already have an idea of what he wants to do with it?
If not, I'm thinking to use the $ from sale of the items and make it a guest house.
