Storm of the century

Well, the storm of the century turned out to be about six inches...Here are my before and after pictures of my house, not to impressive huh? Oh well. it is Sunday and the roads are icy so it is a perfect time to craft...thinking of making a purse today or maybe chocolate chip cookies? And I can't forget it is Oscar night. I always get excited about watching the Oscars but for some reason lose interest 1/4 of the way thru it.

they are predicting 12 inches of snow this weekend....no, these pictures weren't taken recently, they are from last year at Easter time. Just dreaming again....

a good feeling

It is such a good feeling to accomplish a project. My niece is having a baby shower, so as a gift I made this Burpee cloth Bouquet for her....she doesn't know if it is a boy or a girl, so I went with greens, whites and yellows. Now I have to try and think of something else to go with it...maybe I will paint her a sweet dreams sign for the baby's room. I think I have some old chippy door panels out in the shed I can use.

Only a matter of time...

My garden in a basket that I received from my husband for Valentine's day is starting to bloom! there is a little daffodil blooming and it makes me so happy! We came out of the single digits today and hit a high of 26 degrees! I can feel it coming...

Look at it! it is an antique..I received it from my boyfriend (now husband) when I was sixteen years old, I am not going to lie to you, At sixteen, I wasn't exactly thrilled. But what I didn't realize at the time is that machine would give me years and years of creativity! It may be old but I think there is still alot of life in her...

best invention ever!

The Bumbo seat! I got it on Ebay and she loves it! I think it is because she is at eye level with everyone, you can put it on your table while you are having dinner and they can join the family...
