I have a question for all of you laptop owners! Which do you feel is the best laptop? Apple? Dell? ??? I want to purchase one but I am stumped....your input would be greatly appreciated! thank you.....have a great weekend!

The North Shore...

We are back from our vacation to the north shore....our favorite place in Minnesota! It was very hot! so we hit the beach! the water was clear but c.o.l.d....refreshing! We put on many miles walking the board walk and of course eating waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much. good times with our nephews...Here are some pictures of our time away...

A Quiet weekend...

We are having a nice quiet weekend...so relaxing. Took a drive to get some ice cream and went by the old one room school house just outside our town. My Dad went to school there thru the eighth grade...such a pretty setting. So glad this little piece of history was preserved! I Hope your weekend is going well....

that is the question...

To paint or not to paint? It is 92 degrees today...so I decided to drag my Adirondack chairs out of the garden and paint them! I scraped and sweat ed and scraped some more...and than I thought maybe I should just leave these wonderful SHABBY CHIC chairs alone...Would they look better all freshly painted? or shabby?

Inspiration Friday...

Allison at My Cozy Home is my inspiration today! She recently posted these pictures of her bedroom on her blog and I love the color combination. She said that the toile bedding is no longer available from the catalog in which she purchased it. I think I will stick with the bedding I have and paint the walls in this beautiful soft blue. I have a couple paint swatches from Restoration Hardware that I think are pretty close...I found a brown rug, kinda shag...omg. I can't believe I puritan primitive country girl even just said those words(brown shag!) I remember happily ripping out all the brown shag out of my home when we purchased it...but life is all about change. right? It is just an area rug.
