Skis for sale?

I hope everyone is having a laid back Sunday like I am...just sitting at my computer with my feet up reading blogs (of course in my sweats). I was taking a picture of myself and my husband walks in and says what are you doing? I told him I was taking a picture for my blog...he says skis for sale? oh so funny. I know my feet are giganormus (size 91/2) but there is no need for that! anyhow, it is so nice to have a day to do nothing...they don't come along that often.

Saturday morning bloggin

OOps. I was planning on taking a picture of my pretty vase filled with Cadberry eggs, can you tell they are my favorite! I got up this morning to take a picture and they were almost gone! I think my husband likes them too. But as usual he will blame it on the cat. I had to post a picture of the cutest little jacket that my little niece and I found for her at Old Navy and it was on clearance.. No eating this jar of eggs, they are fake.

my first attempt...

well, here is my first attempt at making this bag. I used remenants of vintage fabric that I had in my stash...It is from tiny happy! she posted the pattern on her blog...(thank you). In the middle of making this tote my machine (the one I have had since I was sixteen) broke down. So, I broke down and bought a new one...glad I did!

Visiting G-ma

Addison loves her great grandma, she knows she has been thru a lot lately...so she is extra smiley when g-ma holds her. She is such good therapy for my Mom! My Mom's eyes light up when we walk in the door, it just makes her day...My Mom lives in a assited living facility and little Addison is sure a day brightner for all the residents! I am so grateful I have these two lovely ladies in my life..
