Dreaming of a Puttering Shed...

Here is a picture I have kept for many years(sorry it is kinda wrinkled)...We are tearing down a big tree in our yard this summer and my husband wants to put a pine tree in it's place. Well, I really want a puttering shed like this one! I will keep you posted on who gets their way!

shopping and lunch...

My friend Lynn called today and asked if my niece and I would like to do some shopping and of course LUNCH...well. lunch ended up being a pretzel, Addison likes to keep moving! We found some great shoes for Lynn at Macy's and got all caught up. I miss Lynn, we used to be partners at the Antique Market in Buffalo before I took my hiatus. We saw each other a lot! We are planning on going to the Rochester Flea Market on May11...I have the day off, and I can't wait! Here are some pictures of Lynn and Addison at the mall. Take care,Gail

Generations of love...

people have asked who those two little girls were in my post about Easter??? yes, the are my great nieces Addison and Karissa. I am now babysitting Addison ( the little sweetie) full time. After selling antiques for 18 years I decided to take a break and was asked to babysit...I must admit it was an adjustment at first, but now she is just a part of me and my day and we are having so much fun together shopping and going out to lunch and of course visiting great grandma! Addison is very special to me, her grandma Diane (my sister) passed away from cancer at the age of 46 and never got to meet Karissa and Addison...my sister was my best friend and I miss her everyday.

The calendar says April but....

Snow is in the forecast again, so to lift my mood...I picked a couple things up in the dollar section at Target today. I got this cute garden journal and a big packet of seeds for a Butterfly garden. It's the little things in life that can cheer me up! It was nice to see all the Easter merchandise gone and filling it's place where gardening gloves, shovels, pots, and seeds! take good care,Gail
